WINTER 2025

More Than Fashion: Self-Expression with Tammara Kohler

What began as a college internship evolved into a two-decade journey shaping Orlando's luxury fashion scene. While studying at Rollins College, Tammara Kohler sought a business internship that aligned with her passion for fashion. "I became the first intern at Neiman Marcus Orlando in their visual department," she recalls. "That started my journey in the fashion industry."

From her early days in visual merchandising to becoming a sought-after personal stylist, Kohler has built a career defined by creativity, discipline, and intuition. "Styling individuals is very rewarding, especially when you're able to push them beyond their own expectations," she explains. Over time, her artistic instincts led her toward curating complete lifestyle and editorial concepts. "You're responsible for creating an entire scene and capturing the mood you want to portray. It's an artistic expression that requires constant reinvention."

When describing her personal style, she doesn't hesitate: modern, edgy, daring. Influenced by icons like Linda Fargo, the creative director at Bergdorf Goodman, Kohler combines refinement with bold visual storytelling.

For her, true luxury styling extends beyond the garments themselves. "It's about staying effortlessly chic while allowing your personality and style to shine," she says. Her approach begins with understanding a client's boundaries — and then gently expanding them. "I determine what styles fit their lifestyle, then start to push those boundaries and see how far they're willing to go in viewing themselves as I see them."

This season, Kohler curates the looks for Home&Decor's Winter Editorial, drawing inspiration from the modern woman. "Dianna is the epitome of a modern woman — silhouettes that drape and bold colors that match her bold approach to life," she shares. Her palette for winter elegance features jewel tones, silky fabrics, and monochromatic textures that convey sophistication and strength.

Beyond editorial styling, Kohler brings a concierge-level experience through her partnership with The Mall at Millenia. "It includes instant access to luxury shopping, whether through a style session on-site or virtual home delivery," she explains.

Her guiding belief remains simple yet powerful: "Your style is only limited by your imagination." And with an upcoming partnership with the Orlando Museum of Art for the David LaChapelle exhibition, Tammara Kohler continues to shape the intersection of fashion, art, and individuality in 2026.
